Quality Assurance

Our quality management ensures our high product standard is maintained as well as meeting all reqirements imposed in supplier audits of our customers under DIN EN ISO 9001. As a specialist welding workshop, we are also certified by the TÜV Rhineland inspectorate to DIN EN ISO 3834-2.

All working procedures are performed in accordance with constantly updated work instructions, checked in-house and seamlessly documented – from the purchase of raw materials, to storage, production and material testing to packaging.

Material testing
As well as in-house material testing performed as part of quality assurance (ultrasound, surface crack detetion, visual checks etc.) we can also outsource material checking to independent bodies on request (e.g. TÜV etc.). These include, inter alia, weld seam testing, surface crack detection, hardness testing or pressure tests.

Welder qualification approved again
Jan. 2014 - The quality of the welding technique is of particular importance when pipes must withstand extremely high pressures and temperatures. In order to meet the highest standards, we've had our welder qualification tests verified again by the TÜV Rhineland (Technical Inspection Association) in the context of our QMS. Besides traditional materials and dimensions, the welder tests and our procedure audits also include new developments, such as steel grades P91 and P92 from the group of highly heat-resistant steels.
